The competition is being played under the same rules as the Welsh Bonspiel. The ranking is determined by points, then ends, then shots up.

The League Cup is a Schenkel-style competition. This means after each match, teams are drawn against others who have performed similarly to themselves. In theory this should make for more even matches throughout. After 4 out of 6 rounds due to take place, Deeside Curling Club seem to have a stronghold on the top spot. Mid Wales Marauders amanaged to make a big move up the rankings, and the table now stands as follows:
