Tight finish to Premier League Season – still 2 teams in running
The Premier League title will be going to the Mid Wales Club this season, after Monday's games left only their own teams numerically able to reach the top of the table - but there is still no runaway winner. Two teams are still vying for the title of Premier League Champions, despite one of the front-runners forfeiting their early match on Monday.  Although Mid Wales Kites actually won the game on the early session, only one member of their own club was playing. Because a team is only ruled as 'present' if at least two team members play, the game was recorded as a loss against them. The Kites did keep in contention by winning their late session match with a 'legal' team. Mid Wales Kites will need a big win over the Wheelchair Curlers if they are to take the title next week, but would still be reliant on Mid Wales Vikings losing against Connah's Quay Seals.
