A second game this Monday sadly ended in a second defeat for Wales against a clinical Austrian side.
Under pressure from the start, Wales struggled to outmuscle and outmaneuver their opponents, giving up a steal of two in the second end. From that point on Wales were always chasing their opponent's tails and came out of the fifth end trailing 5-3.
Wales's fortunes unfortunately did not improve after the break, and following another two for the Austrians in the eighth end the decision to shake hands was made.
Wales pass the half way stage of the round robin with a record of two wins and two losses, and will be hoping for better luck in their remaining games.
