Wales saved their best team performance of the round robin for last with a convincing victory over rivals England this morning.
A seventh successive Draw Shot success gave Wales the hammer and they got on top of their opponents early, taking three and stealing two to lead 6-3 at the half way stage.
England improved following the break but a strong showing from Garry Coombs at second and Rhys Phillips at third removed almost all danger, leaving skip James Pougher with a series of relatively comfortable stones to keep Wales out in front until the finish.
Wales finish the round robin with a record of four wins and three losses, and remain in contention for the play offs if Turkey can beat Slovakia in their final game this evening.
